Cap Corse Marine Natural Park

This photo is one of the ideas for the 2024 French National Sea Photography Championship. The theme was "Posidonia seagrass." We had to be creative. For my series of six photos, I won the bronze medal. Posidonia is an aquatic plant from the Mediterranean that forms vast meadows. It plays a major role in the marine ecosystem. A "carbon sink"! The seagrass meadows absorb CO2 dissolved in the water and release O2.
